Digital communications & administrative assistant

Location : Brussels, Belgium

Contract : 12 months + extension

We are looking for a motivated Digital Communication & Administrative Assistant to join our client's support services team, supporting activities for their Health and Food Safety unit. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a dynamic, international environment and is passionate about digital communications, public health, and administrative coordination within institutions.

Key Responsibilities

Digital Communication & Content Management

* Create, edit, proofread, and format online content for their IT platform and newsletters.
* Improve content clarity, usability, and consistency in line with editorial standards.
* Carry out weekly monitoring of newly released reports, publications, and events in the AMR field to support content planning.
* Prepare and dispatch weekly newsletters, proposing relevant topics.
* Edit and format presentations for online publication, adapting visual style for various audiences.

Online Community & Collaboration Support

* Provide user support and guidance to platform members, ensuring smooth navigation and access management.
* Facilitate cooperation and communication among members and stakeholders.
* Monitor online discussions and manage user access rights.

Administrative & Secretariat Support

* Organise and support meetings, including agenda preparation, documentation, minutes and follow-up actions.
* Maintain email inboxes, contact lists and databases, ensuring accuracy and timely responses.
* Assist with planning and logistics for subgroup events.

Profile

Essential

* Strong knowledge of digital tools and online content management.
* Proven experience in web content creation, editing or digital communication.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams).
* Familiarity with Adobe Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop).
* Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
* Ability to adapt to evolving priorities, tools, and workflows.

Desirable

* Degree in communications, journalism, public relations, or similar field.
* Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role.
