Robert Half Talent Solutions is currently looking for a Finance & Operations Senior Manager (m/f/x) for a permanent position based in Brussels.
Our client is a non-governmental organization.
As Finance & Operations Senior Manager (m/f/x) you will be responsible for:
* Maintain and develop financial systems, policies, and procedures;
* Lead on accounting matters, budgeting, financial reporting (core and donor-funded projects), and auditing processes;
* Prepare financial updates for stakeholders, including the management team, the board and audit committee;
* Manage relations with external auditors, financial institutions, members or donors;
* Monitor financial risks and compliance with Belgian regulations;
* Direct management of the finance team (2 members);
* Handle additional finance-related duties as needed.
The required profile for the Finance & Operations Senior Manager (m/f/x) position:
* Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in finance, ideally in an international non-profit or a membership-based organisation (corporate experience also considered);
* Strong expertise in accounting, financial planning and analysis;
* A good command of odoo.com is desirable;
* Proven ability to lead and manage teams;
* Solid understanding of the Belgian law and regulations affecting nonprofits;
* Proactive problem-solver with strong leadership skills;
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skill;
* Ability to work within a network of multicultural staff and stakeholders;
* Fluency in English and French or Dutch is required.
