About the Role
Our client is looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join their team. In this role, you will:
* Build and maintain scalable web applications, contributing to both frontend and backend development.
* Help shape system architecture and design solutions with a focus on security, performance, and long-term maintainability.
* Develop APIs and integrations that support asynchronous communication patterns.
* Collaborate across the tech stack, with opportunities to work on frontend features and backend services.
* Implement automated testing practices to ensure code quality and reliability.
* Work closely with DevOps on deployment pipelines and contribute to best practices.
* Guide and mentor other team members, actively participate in code reviews, and share technical expertise.
Requirements
* 10+ years' experience in full stack or backend development.
* Strong knowledge of PHP and modern frameworks.
* Deep understanding of web architecture, design patterns, and development best practices.
* Experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and caching mechanisms.
* Comfortable working with asynchronous programming and distributed systems.
* Familiarity with CI/CD workflows and modern DevOps approaches.
* Experience with containerisation tools such as Docker.
* Skilled in automated testing and quality assurance processes.
* Strong problem-solving abilities and a collaborative, agile mindset.
* Excellent communication skills in English.
Desirable Skills
* Experience with modern frontend frameworks and TypeScript.
* Exposure to Python, particularly for hardware integration.
