You’ll work with a team of 10+ architects and engineers to design and build robust cloud solutions that meet strict security and compliance standards in regulated industries.Your day-to-day will include:Team Leadership: Mentor and guide a team of cloud architects and engineers, helping them grow their skills and deliver high-quality workArchitecture Strategy: Shape how we use Azure across the business, ensuring our technical choices align with our goals and regulatory needsDesign & Build: Create comprehensive Azure solutions for regulated environments, including Azure Landing Zones, secure networks, data protection, and compliance controlsSecurity Focus: Develop multi-layered security approaches using Azure security best practices, including Virtual Network design, identity and access management (Azure AD/Entra ID), encryption, and audit loggingStakeholder Management: Present architecture plans and decisions to executives and key stakeholders, explaining technical concepts in business termsCross-functional Collaboration: Work with platform engineering, DevSecOps, and security teams to solve complex problems and build consensusQuality Assurance: Review designs, conduct security assessments, and ensure everything meets regulatory requirementsBest Practices: Create standards, templates, and guidelines that help teams build consistent, reliable Azure solutionsInnovation: Champion modern Azure approaches like serverless computing (Azure Functions), containerization (ACI/AKS), and microservices to improve how we build and deploy applicationsCost Management: Optimize Azure spending through cost management and FinOps practices, designing efficient architectures at scaleWhat We’re Looking ForDeep expertise in Azure cloud architecture and enterprise-scale solution designHands-on experience with Azure services: Virtual Machines, Azure Functions, Blob Storage, Virtual Networks, ExpressRoute, Azure SQL Database, Cosmos DB, ACI/AKS, ARM Templates/Bicep, Management Groups, Azure Policy, and Microsoft Defender for CloudProven experience designing and implementing Azure Landing Zones with management group hierarchies and subscription strategiesExperience leading and mentoring technical teams of 8-15 people on complex cloud transformation programsStrong understanding of security frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, CIS Azure Foundations Benchmark) and compliance requirementsKnowledge of cloud-native architecture patterns: microservices, serverless, event-driven systems, and API designUnderstanding of hybrid cloud architectures, Azure Stack, and Azure ArcAbility to communicate complex technical ideas to C-level executives and non-technical audiencesTrack record of successfully delivering large-scale cloud projects in regulated industriesExperience with Azure cost management and designing cost-efficient architecturesBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical fieldProfessional-level English communication skillsNice to HaveExtensive experience in highly regulated industries (finance, healthcare, government)Experience designing architectures for multiple data classification levels and compartmentalized security requirements
