I am working for a leading client based in Liege who are on the look out for a Data Engineer to join their team on a freelance basis.
6 month contract + extensions
On site presence is required (4 to 5 days a week)

As a Data Engineer, the individual will be responsible for the design, development, testing, and maintenance of data management systems, with a particular focus on:
• The use of Amazon Web Services (AWS)
• Data management and integration with Snowflake
I have outlined the requirements around the position below.
* Experience building and managing AWS and Snowflake data platforms.
* Strong skills in CI/CD, containerization, and AWS DevOps tools.
* Experience with infrastructure automation tools (PowerShell, Ansible, Chef, or Puppet).
* Ability to design secure, scalable architectures and ensure data quality.
* Knowledge of security, privacy, and DevOps best practices.
* Strong collaboration and mentoring skills.
* Fluency in French and English
