Site Reliability Engineer - The Job
* Ensure mission-critical reliability
: design, monitor, and optimize satellite systems for peak performance and minimal downtime.
* Automate infrastructure & workflows
: implement CI/CD, GitOps, and IaC to streamline operations and reduce manual errors.
* Embed observability & monitoring
: define SLIs/SLOs, error budgets, and proactive alerting to anticipate and prevent incidents.
* Lead incident response & remediation
: investigate failures, perform root-cause analysis, and implement long-term fixes for production environments.
* Collaborate across teams
: work with Development, Security, and Operations to integrate best practices in reliability, security, and scalability.
Site Reliability Engineer - The Job
* Experienced SRE / DevOps professional
with a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
* Creative problem-solver
with strong knowledge of reliability, cloud and on-prem infrastructure, automation, and modern DevOps practices.
* Hands-on with containers & orchestration
(Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, GitOps tools) and cloud environments; experience with CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible).
* Strong communicator and collaborator
, able to work across Development, Security, and Operations teams to embed reliability and observability best practices.
* Security-aware
, familiar with secure coding, IAM, secrets management, and modern security frameworks (e.g., NIST, OWASP).
* Bonus skills:
programming (Python, Java, C/C++), databases (SQL/NoSQL), distributed systems, big data pipelines, performance/reliability testing.
* Languages:
fluent in English and French.
