Join the Finance team of Decospan
Decospan is a European market leader in veneered wood products, active through two strong business units and production sites across Belgium, France, Portugal, Croatia and the Czech Republic. To support our continued expansion, we are looking for a Business Controller who wants to develop into a trusted financial partner for the business.
The Role
As Business Controller, you ensure that management has the right insights to steer the business effectively. You contribute to accurate reporting, reliable budgets, meaningful analyses, and continuous improvement of financial processes. You also take an active role in further developing SAP Controlling and data-driven reporting tools.
You will report to the Finance Manager collaborate closely with all departments at Decospan.

1. Financial Reporting & Analysis
You contribute to consistent, accurate, and timely reporting that helps management understand financial performance. Deliverables include: monthly management reporting, variance analyses with clear explanations and insights into trends, risks, and improvement opportunities
2. Budgeting & Forecasting
You play a key role in coordinating financial planning processes and ensuring that assumptions are well-founded. Deliverables include: consolidated annual budget, updated forecasts during the year and documented assumptions validated within the business
3. Business Partnering
You support managers with financial insight and ensure that decisions are backed by solid analyses. Deliverables include: profitability, costing, and efficiency analyses, clear advice that supports operational and commercial decisions and well-structured presentations and communication of financial impact
4. Systems & Data Management
You contribute to strong data quality and support the further rollout of SAP as a key user for the Controlling module. Deliverables include: SAP CO configurations, testing and user feedback, reliable dashboards, including Power BI where applicable and accurate master data and improved data integrity
What You Bring
A Master’s degree in a financial or economic field, with first years of experience in controlling, audit, financial analysis, or similar. A solid understanding of reporting, budgeting, and cost analysis, combined with a first experience with ERP systems.
