We're working with an up and coming healthcare AI that is based in Antwerp seeking an experienced Data Architect to build high-performing data architecture solutions. You will play a key role in shaping their enterprise data strategy, enabling analytics, AI initiatives, and business intelligence across the organization.
Responsibilities
* Design and maintain enterprise-wide data architecture and data models
* Develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models
* Architect scalable data warehouses and data lakes (e.g., Snowflake, Amazon Redshift)
* Implement cloud-based data solutions on Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
* Lead data integration initiatives using ETL/ELT tools
* Ensure data governance, data quality, metadata management, and regulatory compliance
* Optimize performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency of data platforms
* Collaborate with Data Engineers, BI Developers, and business stakeholders
* Provide technical leadership and mentoring
Your Profile
* 5+ years’ experience in data architecture or senior data engineering
* Strong expertise in SQL and database design (e.g., PostgreSQL, Oracle Database)
* Experience with big data frameworks such as Apache Spark or Apache Hadoop
* Hands-on experience with data modeling tools and methodologies
* Strong understanding of data governance, security, and regulatory compliance
* Experience designing real-time data pipelines (e.g., Apache Kafka)
* Knowledge of Python, Java, or similar programming languages
* Experience implementing modern data architectures (Data Mesh / Data Fabric)
* Experience supporting AI/ML data platforms
* TOGAF or cloud architecture certification
