Mission
As a Business Analyst Pricing, you will join the strategic team responsible for optimizing Carrefour Belgium's pricing policy. In a market characterized by intense price competition and high customer sensitivity, you will support the Pricing Director in implementing and monitoring our pricing strategy to strengthen our competitive position.
Responsibilities
Analysis & Monitoring: You track daily price indices against competitors and analyze the impact of price changes on sales volumes and margins.
Strategic Support: You assist the Pricing Director in developing pricing policies and work closely with Marketing (for pricing campaigns) and the various Business Units.
Reporting & Tools: You manage and improve dashboards while ensuring the accuracy and quality of pricing data.
Ad-hoc Simulations: You perform urgent analyses (e.g., the impact of price reductions) and prepare executive summaries to support the Executive Committee.
Profile
Education & Experience: You preferably hold a Master's degree in an economic or quantitative field and have 2 to 5 years of experience in data analysis (ideally in retail or consultancy).
Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with databases; knowledge of Power BI or Tableau is a distinct advantage.
Languages: Fluency in Dutch and/or French, complemented by a good professional level of English.
Soft Skills: You are analytical, discreet, and capable of translating complex data into actionable business insights for senior management.
