JOB DESCRIPTION:
PURPOSE OF THE JOB
The Business Excellence Analyst will lead the design and implementation of advanced automation solutions within Operations, manage complex datasets and develop predictive and prescriptive analytics to support the growing warehouse operations. The Business Excellence Analyst will create robust KPI frameworks and leverage scalable tools to ensure automation initiatives and data-driven insights deliver measurable improvements in efficiency, scalability, and service quality.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
* Design and implement advanced analytics and reporting platforms using tools like Power BI, PowerApps, Alteryx, and Power Automate to enable real-time decision-making.
* Develop and maintain KPI dashboards that measure and visualize operational performance, efficiency, and compliance across multiple functions.
* Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, root causes, and improvement opportunities, translating insights into practical, results-driven and actionable solutions.
* Lead and implement automation and workflow digitization strategies for operational processes, including optimization and integration of digital tools and automation of reporting processes.
* Create business cases for proposed improvements, present them to Sr Leadership and relevant stakeholders, and lead the implementation of approved solutions.
* Coordinate bottom up OpEx budget elaboration and follow-up on monthly spend towards this budget.
* Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Supply Chain, Quality and IT to ensure seamless integration of automation solutions.
* Participate in Gemba tours.
* Act as a role model in communication, customer focus (both internal as external), accountability, data-driven decision making, and continuous improvement.
* Ensure that activities are carried out according to applicable internal and external processes, procedures and guidelines (Quality, Environment, Safety, Health).
EDUCATION & COMPETENCIES
* Bachelor or master's degree in Economics, Data science, Engineering or equivalent through experience.
* Minimum 3 years of experience working in analytics, automation, or operational excellence.
* Strong analytical skills and a data-driven mindset, with experience in tools such as Power BI, PowerApps, Excel, Alteryx, Business Objects, Visio and automation platforms (Microsoft Automation, RPA tools), and Microsoft Fabric.
* Strong experience in data modeling, KPI development, and predictive analytics.
* Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP preferred).
* Lean, Six Sigma certification Green Belt is a plus.
* Fluent in English; Dutch or French is a strong asset.
* Hands-on, proactive, open-minded and structured approach to problem-solving.
* Ability to work independently and cross-functionally in a dynamic, international environment.
* Strategic thinker with strong communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of influencing across regional and global teams.
