We are looking for a Middleware Support Engineer to join the IT Integrations team. As part of this team, you will contribute to the development, maintenance, and operational efficiency of our IT integration systems, which support various business processes. With ongoing migration projects and new integration interfaces constantly being developed, the team needs additional support to handle the growing workload.
As a Middleware Support Engineer, you will be part of a dedicated team ensuring the continued success of our integration system. Your responsibilities will include:
1. You will provide faster response and solutions for integration-related tickets, ensuring timely resolutions and minimizing disruptions.
2. You will improve overall service to the business by enhancing the performance and reliability of the integration system.
3. You will monitor IT infrastructure more closely, ensuring performance stability and proactively identifying potential issues.
4. You will assist with incident resolution and streamline automation processes, reducing manual intervention and enhancing operational efficiency.
5. You will develop and maintain integration flows and configurations, adapting them to evolving business needs and technical requirements.
6. You will support the ongoing migration and project rollouts, collaborating with the team to implement new solutions and ensure a smooth transition.
You have the following skills
Required Skills:
7. You have proficiency in integration software such as Apache Camel, Java, Spring Boot, and API tools like Apigee.
8. You have proficiency in data exchange technologies like PubSub, JMS, and API-based data transfers.
9. You have proficiency with DevOps tools such as GitLab, Maven, Docker, and scripting languages.
10. You have proficiency in database management, particularly SQL (PostgreSQL).
11. You have basic knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GKE), Support service tooling, operating systems, including Linux and Windows and networking and security implementations, such as Active Directory and certificates.
12. You have a strong problem-solving mindset, with the ability to think creatively and tackle challenges efficiently.
13. You are a team player, but you can also work independently and take ownership of tasks.
14. You speak fluent English and either French or Dutch, enabling effective communication within the team and with stakeholders.

15. You have at least of professional experiences in IT
16. If you are at least fluent in FR/ENG or NL/ENG it’s best
