Syringe Cell 2 (SYR C2) is a highly versatile production area. Our department includes Filling Lines DSF4 and DSF5, Inspection Line 15, a new Preparation Center, and Terminal Sterilization Autoclaves GET1, FED16, and FED17. Our future plans include the relocation and integration of Inspection Line 14, decommissioning of FED2, and the implementation of automated debagging and transport (DIM). These projects are complemented by the introduction of three new products, while SYR C2 continues to play an important role in COVID-related production. At SYR C2, we are committed to a fully automated and seamless production process. The combination of new product introductions and our continuous efforts to future-proof our equipment and processes makes SYR C2 one of the most dynamic and forward-looking areas within Puurs.
What You Will Achieve
In this role, you will be able to make an impact in the filling or inspection, where you will:
* Collaborate daily with Production and Maintenance colleagues to identify potential quality issues, safety risks, or yield losses. For each issue identified, you will clarify the root cause, recommend solutions, and follow up on implementation
* Work with Engineering and external partners to implement new equipment or execute major updates to existing equipment
* Facilitate effective project meetings with fellow Process Engineers (PEs) and team members to ensure continuous process monitoring and control
* Lead New Product Introductions (NPIs) in collaboration with colleagues from LE/STS—from initiation to completion
* Take ownership of a specific production area and serve as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for that domain
Minimum Requirements
* Solid technical background
* Strong organizational and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience in automation and equipment validation
* Familiarity with manufacturing processes and production equipment
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Experience facilitating project meetings and managing project budgets
