Job Description
You are responsible for the electrical and electronic maintenance of the installations in Proferro's Foundry, both corrective and preventive:
* This includes independently detecting faults, malfunctions, and defects, as well as replacing and repairing defective components;
* You carry out various checks as part of preventive maintenance;
* Together with the foreman, you analyze the causes of defects to formulate proposals aimed at continuous improvement;
* You perform tasks with attention to the order and cleanliness of the installation and its surroundings;
* Acquiring and sharing knowledge with colleagues is an essential part of your job.
A direct and thorough training in the night shift is provided as part of the onboarding process with a fellow electrician.
Qualifications
* You have completed a secondary technical education in electricity or electronics (A2 level), or you have equivalent experience;
* You have some knowledge of PLCs, hydraulics, and pneumatics;
* You combine a hands-on approach with strong analytical skills;
* You enjoy working in a team and have a strong technical interest;
* You are flexible and in good physical condition;
* You are looking for a position in the night shift.
* You speak fluent Dutch or French.
