Your Role
As a Production Engineer, you'll investigate the technical feasibility of the project and determine the most productive work method and vessel deployment from the initial phase of project development. You'll define the duration and production cycles of activities and assess the workability and interfaces of project execution. During project execution, you'll monitor from headquarters whether the works are proceeding as planned, combining this with short site and vessel visits aimed at increasing the vessel's productivity.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
* You're responsible for the technical budgeting of dredging projects both domestically and internationally.
* You ensure the optimization and production-technical follow-up of dredging works.
* You calculate and advise the technical department on the design and dimensioning of dredging components for new vessels.
* You ensure the follow-up of soil investigations.
* You collect and process feedback from measurements on dredging vessels. You contribute to the development of new dredging methods/techniques.
What you'll need:
You are an industrial or civil engineer, preferably with a background in civil or mechanical engineering. You have knowledge of soil mechanics and a strong analytical mindset.
You'll work from the office in Aalst, but you're willing to make regular short trips abroad.
