Brand & Packaging Internship
Kortrijk, Belgium
-----------------------------------
Our mission 🚀
In 2016, our founders wanted to feed their dogs - named Edgard and Cooper - pet food they could feel good about. The kind of food that was as good for the planet as it was for their pets. But when they couldn't find this, they decided to make their own. Now, 10 years later, our pack has over 200 employees and we are beyond proud to be part of the B Corp movement.

What type of breed are we looking for? 🐕
* You have an eagle eye for detail: the kind of person who always spotted the tiny spelling mistake in class (and was strangely proud of it). That superpower is very welcome here!
* They say “teamwork makes the dream work,” right? Well, in this project it really does. Being a true team player will help you navigate across all our packs like a pro.
* You’re naturally curious, always wanting to understand why consumers behave the way they do and you enjoy digging into insights to make smarter design decisions.
* You’re organized and structured, able to keep multiple files, feedback rounds, and stakeholder inputs on track without losing your cool.
What will be in your bowl? 🥗
* Take responsibility within an NPD/EPD project, with a key focus on delivering the full design-to-print process for one assigned product or category (scope dependent on internship timing).
* Conduct competitive research to map category cues, industry norms, and best-practice design standards that inform strong design directions.
* Partner with CMI and brand teams to uncover what consumers truly care about, and translate these insights into clear, actionable design briefs aligned with brand guidelines.
* Collaborate with the packaging team to help shape a precise, technically aligned artwork brief.
* Help bring designs to life by supporting the print production process: managing file progress, liaising with printers, and safeguarding brand colours and consistency.
* Proofread and verify artwork carefully, ensuring all elements, from claims to translations to design details, are accurate, consistent, and fully compliant before final approval.
* Stay closely aligned with the sales team to ensure they receive accurate master data for optimized product setup and strong on-shelf visibility.
* Act as the bridge between legal and product teams, ensuring all on-pack information, claims, and mandatory elements are correctly reviewed and approved.
