In order to further enhance our People & Organization team, we are seeking an enthusiastic colleague to join our team in our Brussels office. As HR (People & Organization) Business Partner and Internal Communication Expert you will be responsible for the tactical and operational soft HR processes and projects in Brussels. On top of this you will be responsible for internal communication across the international group. You will be part of the international People & Organization team. You will collaborate closely with the HR Director. You will be responsible for the full employee lifecycle for employees in Brussels (approx. 80 employees split over three companies). This includes recruitment, onboarding, performance, learning and development and offboarding. This also includes conflict management, local projects and events. You will be the line manager of the Office and fleet manager for Brussels. You will also be responsible for the FBC Group internal communication projects, from strategical thinking to operational implementation. This includes making a communication strategy, keeping the intranet up to date, implement new tools and systems, ... You will collaborate closely to the External communication manager. Main Responsibilities
Recruit, onboard, follow-up on performance and development and offboard colleagues in Brussels. Collaborate with the rest of the People & Organization team on local analysis, policy and process harmonization and drive excellence across the company. Manage the local People & Organization budget. Partner with Finance to budget, forecast and explain salary budgets for your local site. Manage yearly processus such as the training plan, performance development plans, ... People management of the Office & Fleet manager. Partner with the payroll officer located in another site with respect to the local payroll for Brussels employees (provide information, check payroll reports and variances before payment). Align and harmonize policies and processes with sister companies in the Brussels or Belgian region. Train line managers on Line Manager Excellence. Provide education to employees to increase their understanding of the policies and practices in place. Construct the communication strategy for the full FBC Group, and harmonize local practices. Support change management by ensuring clear, consistent messaging during transitions (e.g., organization changes, new systems). Drive engagement and wellbeing projects, including global events. Be fully responsible for the internal communication tools (intranet, global communication mailbox). Who we are looking for
You have a masters degree in HR or business related domains with at least +5 years of experience, or equivalent by experience You are independent in recruitment, HR processes and project management. You are able to work on a strategical level, but you can go into very operational implementation at the same time. You are able to work in a dynamic environment. You have a strong methodological and proactive approach. You are very analytical and detail-oriented. You have experience partnering with Finance. You are able to deep dive in a specific topic without losing an overview of the bigger picture You are fluent in English and French. Dutch is a plus.
