Databricks Engineer – Brussels (Hybrid) – €950/day – 12-Month ContractWe are currently seeking an experienced Databricks Engineer to join a leading banking client based in Brussels on a 12-month contract.This is an exciting opportunity to work on large-scale data transformation projects within a highly reputable financial institution, leveraging modern data platforms and cloud technologies.

Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and optimize data pipelines using DatabricksWork with large-scale data processing frameworks (Spark)Collaborate with data architects, engineers, and business stakeholdersEnsure data quality, governance, and performance optimisationContribute to the migration and modernisation of data platforms
Required Skills & Experience:Strong hands-on experience with DatabricksProficiency in Apache Spark (PySpark/Scala)Experience working in cloud environments (Azure, AWS, or GCP)Solid understanding of data engineering best practicesExperience within financial services is a plusStrong communication skills in English (French/Dutch is a plus)
Nice to Have:Experience with Delta LakeKnowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practicesExposure to data governance and security frameworks
