As a Scientific Expert of the R&D department, you will play a key role in supporting both the Sales and Customer Care departments with your scientific expertise. You will be actively involved in handling customer complaints, leading laboratory investigations to determine root causes, and delivering clear, constructive feedback to both clients and internal teams.
Your work will contribute directly to the continuous improvement of our products by performing the necessary laboratory experiments. In addition, you will serve as the go-to person for all internal training related to products and instruments.
You will also be responsible for communicating the progress and outcomes of your projects, not only within the R&D department but also with other relevant departments involved in the development process.
Your Key Responsibilities:
* Provide scientific support to sales and customer care departments.
* Lead root cause investigations.
* Design, plan, and execute laboratory experiments.
* Write raw data reports, analyze and interpret experimental data to guide decision-making.
* Follow impacted processes to implement improvement of products.
* Deliver training sessions to internal teams on the correct usage of products and instruments.
* Collaborate with internal departments (Validation, QA/RA, Manufacturing, etc.).
* Ensure scientific rigor and traceability in all experimental procedures and documentation.
* Maintain a safe, organized, and high-quality laboratory environment.

Who Are We Looking For?
* Strong lab experience and scientific rigor.
* Bachelor’s degree in science (biochemistry, biotechnology, biomedical science or equivalent).
* Minimum 3 years of experience in a biotech R&D environment.
* Minimum 3 years of experience in molecular biology.
* Fluent in English and French (additional languages are a plus).
* A good team spirit and like to work with a team
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
* Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
