Rust DeveloperWe're looking for a Rust Developer to help modernize the software platform that manages transportation and safety in Belgium. This is a large-scale and meaningful project: your work will directly impact the safe operation of vehicles across the country.
What you'll doDevelop new features while also supporting existing modules.Write precise and reliable code – safety is critical.Contribute to the technical design and implementation of the system.Create clear documentation so colleagues can easily follow your work.Depending on your experience, take on a lead role in design choices, tools, and methodologies.
Tech stack you'll work withRust (strong programming skills required)Qt (you're an expert or ready to become one)Linux (basic knowledge for development & debugging)GIT (version control)Nice-to-have: Java and/or Python
Who you areYou speak Dutch or French, plus English .At least 5y experience as a developerYou're precise and structured – safety matters.A good communicator and strong team player.Proactive: you don't just code, you think along and bring ideas.
