About Tosca
We are Europe’s leading pooling company for plastic load carriers. Our service is to bring clean plastic returnable assets (pallets/foldable large containers/foldable crates) to our customers who send these assets all over Europe to their end customers. After every trip, these load carriers are being collected by us and brought to one of our European service centers where they are being prepared for a next trip. We manage hundreds of thousands of load carriers between more than 5,000 locations, mainly food related companies. Our Pan-European pooling service offers our B2B customers a sustainable and efficient solution throughout their whole supply chain.
Currently, we are looking for a driven Quality, Health & Safety Officer to join our office in Schelle (Belgium), to uphold QFS and Health & Safety standards, ensure exceptional customer service, and promote a strong culture of quality and safety through effective internal communication.
Responsibilities
Quality & Food Safety (50%)
* Scheduling and conducting audits on-site on 3rd party and Tosca own sites against Tosca Standards (QFS and HS)
* Documenting quality assurance activities and creating audit reports
* Complying with the company’s quality standards
* CAPA Registration and follow-up on open points with stakeholders
* Conducting trainings on-site on QFS and/or HS Topics (product trainings, quality standards, inspections, “spotlight on safety”, etc.)
* Maintaining up-to-date training matrix & training schedule, registration (QFS and HS), including HS support introducing manual.to software to depots
* Complaint investigation
* Conduct Quality controls based on the pre-defined schedule in depot and office locations
* Conduct supplier evaluation, approval
* Make recommendations for improvement
* Other tasks and duties on QFS or HS as assigned
Health & Safety (50%)
* Provide administrative support in HS: prepare reports and presentations as required, prepare scorecards, perform trend analysis of accidents and near misses…
* Support the QHS team in the EcoOnline administrator role
* Follow up on HS audits in EcoOnline and on paper (leadership team)
* Coordinate workwear/PPE related tasks (working with suppliers K&S, ADP and Vandeputte)
* Keep HS Sharepoint up-to-date
* Assist in reviewing and updating risk assessments and SOP’s
* Hands-on support at depot level rolling out new HS programs and standards, addressing HS related issues
* Organize annual safety campaign (safety week)
Education
You’ve obtained a Bachelor's degree or you’ve acquired equivalent knowledge through experience. Motivation and willingness to learn is more important than years of experience.
Skills
* You are fluent, both written and spoken in English. Knowledge of German, French, Spanish, Italian, Dutch or any other language is considered a plus.
* You have knowledge, or a strong interest in Quality, Health and Safety.
* You have an eye for accuracy and know how to set priorities.
* You can work independently and in a structured manner.
* You communicate in a professional and constructive way.
* You are willing to travel between different sites throughout the Tosca network in EMEA.
* You know your way around MS Office. On-the-job training will be provided for our internal software.
