You will step in as our very first Finance hire, making this a unique opportunity to own and build the entire function alongside the CFO. This is a pivotal "jack of all trades" role, combining hands-on accounting with a passion for systems and automation. You will use your deep understanding of finance to build scalable, automated processes that maximize efficiency and impact.
Because our software serves as the financial and transactional backbone for our customers' EV charging costs, the integrity of our financial systems is paramount. You will ensure accurate bookkeeping and clean data flows, which is crucial not only for closing our books but also for directly delivering value and trust to our customers. By focusing on robust automation, you will make the entire financial journey a breeze for our customers, strengthening customer relationships and driving long-term value creation.

Revenue & A/R Accounting: Own the entire revenue recognition and Accounts Receivable cycle, ensuring data integrity and timely collection. You'll work directly with our Ops & Product team as well as our customers' A/P and Accounting teams to ensure the processing of charging costs is a breeze for our customers.
A/P Accounting & G/L Management: Help drive the monthly closing process and ensure timely, accurate financial results. You will support with and should be comfortable performing accounting entries yourself as needed.
Cash Flow & Liquidity Management: Monitor and manage company cash flow by building new and improving existing reports on working capital and creditor exposure to ensure optimal financial health.
Business Partnering: Act as a critical partner to our Commercial team, proactively translating financial data into actionable insights to drive strategic decisions, specifically related to new customer acquisition, pricing, and high-value growth proposals.
Constantly seek to automate recurring tasks to free up time for strategic analysis.
Improve our core financial systems and processes to maximize efficiency and ensure the integrity of our financial data. Statutory Compliance & Tax Management: Oversee all local statutory reporting, VAT, corporate tax, and other regulatory filings, ensuring full compliance.
Have 3+ years of accounting and/or controlling experience, ideally as an accountant or business controller in a corporate or Big-4.
SaaS, FinTech) is a significant plus.
Are a self-starter who thrives on ownership and can translate high-level ideas into tangible, rapid results. You enjoy manual accounting & tasks because they offer the constant potential to be improved and streamlined and result in clean administration. Possess the confidence and clarity to communicate complex financial matters effectively to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
Obtained a Bachelor's degree in Accounting. A Master's degree and/or relevant certifications are an advantage.
