What does your day look like?
* You design and implement infrastructure services in line with Joris Ide's IT vision and strategy.
* You support the onboarding of mergers and acquisitions, both greenfield and brownfield, into the Joris Ide IT landscape.
* You grow into a subject matter expert, guiding colleagues on complex technical challenges.
* You support and maintain both on-premises and cloud environments.
* You evaluate the existing infrastructure and provide technical feedback and recommendations to the IT Infrastructure Team Lead.
* You manage and coordinate incidents and service requests in line with internal procedures and ITIL processes.
* You ensure audit compliance within your scope, supported by Power BI dashboards.
* You collaborate closely with colleagues across IT and the wider organisation and travel to sites when required.
* You report directly to the IT Infrastructure Team Lead.
Who are we looking for?
* You have at least 5 years of experience in a similar system engineering role
* You are a team player who enjoys supporting others to achieve shared goals
* You are a critical thinker, well organised and detail oriented
* You thrive in a result-driven, no-nonsense environment
* You have a solid understanding of ITIL
* You are fluent in Dutch and English and can work professionally in French
* You are willing to travel occasionally to different Joris Ide sites
* You have experience with most of the following technologies:
* HCI & Virtualisation: Nutanix, VMware (vSphere, ESXi, SRM), SAN
* Microsoft stack: Windows Server, Identity Management, Exchange & O365, Intune, SQL
* Network infrastructure: Cisco & Palo Alto, routing & switching, WLAN
* Backup solutions: Rubrik
* Monitoring tools: PRTG, Zabbix
* Vulnerability management: Qualys VMDR
* Scripting & automation: PowerShell, Ansible
* API integrations: REST APIs
