We are searching for someone to join our shared service department as a Technical Services support (m/w) based in Belgium. We're looking for someone who likes having their finger on the pulse when it comes to supporting customers with effortless communication both on the phone or through email. Duties and Responsibilities in this job:
* Ability to provide friendly customer phone support, including handling reclamations and technical complaints recording.
* As you are a specialist, you offer technical troubleshooting to both our customers and colleagues in the field.
* Help customers with remote installations
* Management of Service orders with quick turn- around times
* Management of product returns, billing of installation orders and handling invoices when requested.
Our ideal candidate will have the following qualifications and skills:
* Bachelor's degree in IT or relevant discipline. We will also accept the equivalent of 5 years of experience in a technical supporting role.
* Experience within the medical device sector would be advantageous.
* Strong teamwork skills with the ability to problem solve.
* General understanding of technical requirements of our products.
* Ability to schedule technicians and understand time frames relevant to each job they are being assigned.
* To be able to maintain quality phone communication with customers and colleagues.
* Experience with an ERP is favourable.
* Ability to adapt to changes and to handle pressure
* Basic knowledge of networking is a plus
Language Abilities: Fluent Dutch and a professional level English required.
A good knowledge of French would also be advantageous but not essential.
