We are looking for a Senior IT/OT Infrastructure Engineer to support, maintain and modernise a complex, business-critical operations environment. You will work across Windows Server platforms, storage systems, scripting tools and hybrid cloud components, while contributing to reliable, secure and scalable IT/OT operations.
What you'll do
* Design, implement and manage changes across the IT/OT infrastructure landscape.
* Support architects in translating new designs into fully operational solutions in production.
* Analyse incidents and technical issues, troubleshoot effectively and restore stability quickly.
* Coach and support team members, sharing best practices and helping raise technical maturity.
* Maintain operational documentation and ensure processes remain up to date.
* Suggest improvements to strengthen automation, monitoring, performance and resilience.
* You are open to participating in an on-duty (24/7) support role on a rotational schedule. (approximately 1 week every 4 weeks)
What are we looking for?
* You bring strong hands-on expertise with
Windows Server 2016–2025
, including
AD, DHCP, DNS, IIS
and operational administration.
* You design and automate infrastructure tasks using
PowerShell
and
DSC
with confidence.
* You work effectively with enterprise storage platforms such as
EMC Unity / VMAX / Data Domain
and
NetApp MetroCluster IP
.
* You manage operational environments using
VMware vSphere
, including configuration and troubleshooting.
* You apply working knowledge of
SQL Server 2019–2022
,
Azure AD
,
Kubernetes
and hybrid cloud components.
* You operate with a good understanding of
Linux server administration
and basic networking concepts within IT/OT environments.
* You communicate clearly, work reliably in regulated environments and collaborate closely with technical and non-technical colleagues.
* You can follow conversations in Dutch AND French, and you are fluent in English.
