Functieomschrijving
* Manage and control all tooling and ground support equipment (GSE) in compliance with EASA Part-145 standards, Health & Safety regulations, and internal procedures.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date tooling and material inventories in the ERP system (AMOS), ensuring proper identification, traceability, and labelling.
* Oversee calibration and inspection schedules for all tools and equipment; ensure valid certificates traceable to national or international standards.
* Ensure compliance of GSE, lifting equipment, and PPE with Health & Safety standards.
* Verify that tooling meets OEM (e.g. Boeing) and Maintenance Organisation Exposition (MOE) requirements.
* Organize the efficient and secure operation of the Tool & Equipment Store.
* Liaise with approved vendors for calibration, procurement, and repair services while ensuring regulatory compliance and cost efficiency.
* Investigate tooling damage reports and provide analysis, recommendations, and improvements.
* Assist in drafting and updating tooling-related procedures within the MOE and supporting documentation.
* Promote a strong safety culture by applying human factors principles and supporting continuous process improvement in coordination with the H&S department.
* Maintain professional competence through ongoing training and development.
Functie-eisen
* Diploma in logistics, mechanics, or aviation (BTS/DMA or equivalent).
* Knowledge of EASA Part-145 regulations, specifically regarding tooling, calibration, and equipment management.
* Valid airport driving license.
* Valid forklift license.
* Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a regulated aircraft maintenance environment, ideally within an EASA Part-145 organization.
* Practical knowledge of tooling control systems and maintenance management software (e.g., AMOS).
* Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
* Solid understanding of traceability and certification requirements for calibrated tools.
* Proficient in MS Office and familiar with ERP systems.
* Excellent written and spoken English; proficiency in French and/or Dutch is an asset. Additional European languages are a plus.
* Excellent organizational, coordination, and communication skills.
