Role As an Azure Integration Architect, you are responsible for designing and implementing secure, scalable integration solutions using Microsoft Azure services. You focus on creating robust architectures that connect cloud and on-premises systems through tools like Logic Apps, Service Bus, Event Grid, and API Management. As an architect, you collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into actionable integration strategies. You ensure compliance with security, performance, and governance standards while optimizing for cost and efficiency. A key part of your role involves defining integration patterns, mentoring development teams, and enforcing best practices. You also evaluate emerging technologies such as IoT and event-driven architectures to support future business needs. You play a critical role in roadmap planning for iterative adoption of Azure Integration Services during digital transformation. Ultimately, as an Azure Integration Architect, you serve as a trusted advisor, enabling seamless connectivity across enterprise systems and driving innovation through modern integration approaches. We work with the largest organizations in Belgium in various industries, which guarantees challenging and diverse work. The scale of the projects at our enterprise customers naturally brings additional challenges and opportunities. Some projects may last a year, others a little longer or shorter. Qualifications Experience Minimum 5 years in integration architecture and middleware. At least 3 years hands-on experience with Azure Integration Services. Hands-on experience with API lifecycle management Technical Skills Expertise in REST/SOAP APIs, JSON/XML, OAuth, and event-driven architectures. Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code (Azure DevOps, Terraform). Knowledge of microservices and serverless architectures. Certifications (Preferred) Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or equivalent. Soft Skills Strong communication and stakeholder management. Ability to lead projects and coach team members. Education You are in possession of a completed bachelor's or master's degree; Languages You have knowledge of Dutch/French and English language.
