Due to increased workload and upcoming upgrade projects, we are looking for an experienced Freelance PLC Engineer with strong Siemens control systems expertise.This is a hands-on role focused on PLC programming, commissioning and production line optimisation within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.⚙️ ResponsibilitiesPLC programming and modification (Siemens S7 / TIA Portal)Commissioning of new and upgraded production linesTroubleshooting and optimisation of automated processesIntegration of drives, sensors, HMIs and SCADA systemsSupporting FAT / SAT and on-site testingWorking closely with maintenance and production teams🛠️ Required Skills & ExperienceStrong experience with Siemens PLCs (S7 / TIA Portal mandatory)Proven background in food & beverage manufacturing environmentsExperience with production lines (filling, packaging, conveying, mixing etc.)Commissioning and troubleshooting experienceKnowledge of industrial communication protocols (Profinet, Profibus, etc.)Able to work independently on siteNice to have:SCADA / HMI experience (WinCC or similar)Experience with hygienic production environmentsKnowledge of safety PLCs👤 ProfileFreelance / self-employed statusHands-on and pragmaticComfortable working in production environmentsStrong problem-solving mindsetDutch and/or English speaking📈 What’s in It for You?Long-term freelance opportunityChallenging automation projectsFast-moving production environmentCompetitive all-inclusive hourly rateOpportunity to support multiple upgrade projects
