Investor Services Luxembourg is the business unit responsible for the depositary function and the global custody product for institutional clients. Our client segment consists mainly of Luxembourg domiciled investment funds (UCITS and AIF) and some large corporates. Depositary Services & Oversight is focused on the oversight of our funds but is also in charge of other asset safekeeping and cash flow monitoring.
About the role As Depository Manager, you will be part of a team of 8 people and will report to the Head of Depositary and Oversight Services.
Responsibilities Being responsible for the day‐to‐day tasks, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of all controls around safekeeping of other assets, cash flow monitoring and oversight
Creating relationships with our clients and building a network with the aim of fostering collaboration locally and globally within SEB
Assisting with sales activities and the onboarding of new clients
Participating in projects, proposing and driving efficiency and quality improvements
Monitoring regulatory developments and supporting the implementation of new rules and regulations in a robust, efficient, and audit‐proof manner.
Qualifications University degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field
At least 3 years of experience in the investment fund industry, preferably within Depositary or a university graduate with relevant internship experience
A solid understanding of Luxembourg fund structures and their regulatory requirements or be eager to learn quickly
Willingness to develop skills in stakeholder management and effective communication
Approach work with a positive outlook, a can‐do attitude, and a strong sense of ownership
Work independently while fostering a collaborative team spirit. This role does not involve direct people management
Equally comfortable being hands‐on and detailed or providing high‐level oversight as needed
Challenge the status quo, drive the creation of efficient, risk‐controlled, and robust processes
Fluency in English (both written and spoken), proficiency in other languages is considered an advantage.
