Why This Role
This role focuses on delivering high-quality outcomes across transformation programmes in the Benelux region.
You will play a key role in leading workstreams and applying your expertise to improve safety, operational performance, and Human Excellence (HumEx) across client organisations.
As part of a growing BENE team, you will work closely with clients and colleagues to solve complex challenges while continuing to build your expertise and consulting impact.
Your Impact at dss+
You will lead technical workstreams or specialist areas of delivery, applying your expertise to solve complex operational and cultural challenges.
You will:
1. Lead key workstreams across operational risk, HumEx, safety, and operational excellence
2. Analyse client operations and diagnose performance and cultural gaps using data and on-site insights
3. Develop and implement practical, people-centred solutions that deliver sustainable results
4. Work closely with clients to drive adoption and behavioural change
5. Support managers and senior leaders in delivering programmes and maintaining high-quality outcomes
6. Contribute to knowledge development and best practice sharing across the team
This role is based in Belgium (from our Ghent office or your home office) and requires frequent client travel, up to four days per week.

Who You Are
You bring deep expertise in your area of specialism, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality outcomes.
You combine technical capability with a curious, problem-solving mindset and the ability to work closely with clients to deliver impact.
You also bring:
7. Experience in management consulting or a relevant industry, with exposure to transformation, culture change, operational risk, or operational excellence
8. Strong knowledge or interest in Human Excellence (HumEx), safety, and/or cultural transformation
9. Experience leading workstreams or specialist project areas within larger programmes
10. Ability to translate analysis into practical, implementable solutions
11. Strong stakeholder engagement skills and confidence working directly with clients
12. A collaborative mindset and ability to support and guide junior team members

Requirements
19. (Bachelor’s or Master’s) in engineering, business, or a related field
20. Experience in consulting or a relevant operational environment (e.g., oil & gas, manufacturing, food & beverage, chemicals, metals & mining, construction, power & utilities, and transportation)
21. Proven experience working within project teams and leading project workstreams.
22. Expertise in at least one of: operational risk, HumEx, safety, or operational excellence
23. Fluency in Dutch and English (required)
24. Willingness to travel across the Benelux region as required
