We work exclusively with companies where technology is central to the business — startups, scale-ups, and enterprises undergoing digital transformation. Our clients include Elia, Partenamut, N-SIDE, Intigriti, Keytrade Bank, and organisations across health tech, energy, insurance, and fintech in Belgium and Europe. We also run a venture fund investing in early-stage startups and host regular product management training in Brussels.
The role We are looking for a Staffing Director to lead and scale dualoop’s staffing business unit. You will own the commercial performance, operational discipline, and profitability of our consultant placement activities — ensuring the right people are placed with the right clients, at the right economics. This is a leadership role with P&L responsibility combining recruitment, account development, utilization management, and margin optimisation. You will work closely with the CEO to ensure alignment between staffing engagements and other business units.
Responsibilities Business ownership • Own the staffing P&L (revenue, gross margin, utilisation, contribution margin) • Define pricing strategy and margin targets • Monitor pipeline, capacity planning, and forecast revenue • Ensure sustainable growth while maintaining delivery quality
Team leadership & management • Lead and develop the staffing team • Define clear KPIs and performance standards • Conduct regular performance reviews and coaching sessions • Build a culture of ownership, accountability, and commercial discipline • Identify hiring needs within the staffing unit • Ensure strong onboarding and integration of new consultants
You are responsible not just for results, but for building a high-performing, motivated team.
Client development • Expand existing client accounts with staffing opportunities • Build relationships with HR, procurement, product, and tech leaders • Negotiate commercial terms and framework agreements • Identify cross-sell opportunities between staffing and consulting
Collaboration with the Consulting practice • Align closely with the Consulting Director on account strategy • Ensure staffing engagements reinforce broader transformation mandates • Coordinate on resource allocation and talent development • Participate in strategic account planning
Collaboration with Marketing • Work closely with Marketing to position dualoop’s staffing offering clearly and credibly • Provide input on target industries and ideal client profiles • Translate staffing needs into compelling messaging and case studies • Support employer branding initiatives to attract top talent • Collaborate on campaigns that generate inbound staffing demand • Contribute to content and thought leadership when relevant
Staffing growth must align with brand positioning and the market narrative.
Operations & performance management • Implement clear dashboards (utilisation, margin per consultant, time-to-fill, retention rate) • Improve contract standardisation and negotiation processes • Monitor billing cycles and support cash-flow discipline • Continuously optimise operational efficiency
Talent acquisition & management • Lead recruitment strategy for consultants (freelance and permanent) • Build and manage a strong recruiter function • Ensure quality screening and cultural fit • Monitor consultant satisfaction and retention • Drive bench management and utilisation discipline
Profile Required experience • 7–12 years in staffing industry • At least 5 years in a leadership role with revenue responsibility • Experience managing utilisation-driven business models • Proven track record in building and scaling staffing teams • Strong commercial negotiation experience
Languages • English and either French or Dutch
