Location: Brussels, Belgium | Onsite: 2 days/week The Mission Elia Belgium, a key player in the European energy transition, is seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect to join the Group IT team. You will define the technical strategy and governance that ensures a reliable, sustainable energy grid for the future. Your Role You will act as the bridge between business goals and IT execution, ensuring all technology initiatives align with the enterprise vision. Govern the Framework: Lead the Architecture Review Board (ARB), manage decision packs, and maintain architecture principles, standards, and the ADR repository (Sparx/LeanIX). Guide the Strategy: Support the Head of IT Architecture in strategic studies and roadmap planning. Translate the Elia Digital Platform (EDP) strategy into clear guidance for delivery teams. Analyze & Recommend: Conduct trade-off and cost-benefit analyses (ATAM/CBAM) to provide well-founded architectural recommendations. Ensure Compliance: Perform architecture assessments and compliance reviews at key project milestones to prevent drift from the enterprise vision. Connect the Dots: Collaborate with business, IT, and infrastructure teams to align architecture processes with Project Portfolio and IT Service Management. Your Profile Experience: 10 years in an Enterprise Architecture role. Governance: Proven track record facilitating ARB sessions and creating decision packs. Methodologies: Deep knowledge of TOGAF, ArchiMate, Domain-Driven Design, and cloud-native patterns. Tooling: Hands-on experience with Sparx Enterprise Architect, SAP LeanIX, or equivalent. Mindset: Autonomous, results-oriented, and a strong collaborator who can engage stakeholders at all levels. Languages: Fluent English is mandatory; French, Dutch, or German is a plus.
