THE OPPORTUNITY The Technical Service & Product Manager - Equine is responsible for providing scientific, technical, and strategic guidance to support the successful application, positioning, and lifecycle management of our Equine product portfolio in Belgium. In this hybrid role, you will combine veterinary expertise with product and brand management to ensure the successful launch, positioning and lifecycle management of our portfolio. You will support both internal teams (marketing, sales, regulatory) and external stakeholders (veterinarians, KOLs) by delivering high-quality technical guidance that drives customer excellence, informed decision-making, and impactful product use in the market. Approximately 70% of the role focuses on Technical Service, while 30% is dedicated to Product & Brand Management. This position is based in Brussels and reporting to the BU Head of Companion Animals, it is a customer-facing role in which you will spend about half of your time in the field. Occasional travel within Belgium, and at times to Luxembourg will be required. YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Technical Service ( 70%) Strengthen the technical and scientific positioning of the Equine portfolio through expert support and education. Provide high-quality, evidence-based guidance to veterinarians, distributors, internal teams, and other stakeholders. Engage with KOLs and key partners to build strong, trust-based relationships and ensure best-practice product usage. Support field teams with case discussions, training, product troubleshooting, and technical presentations. Ensure all activities comply with legal, ethical, and regulatory standards. Ensure accurate and timely investigation of all suspected adverse events Manage customer inquiries and provide high-quality technical responses Product & Brand Management ( 30%) Contribute to strategy development through insights from the field, scientific literature, and customer interactions. Contribute to the strategic development, positioning, and lifecycle management of the Equine product portfolio. Collaborate closely with Marketing and Sales to develop impactful campaigns, messages, and materials. Support launch readiness, product performance monitoring, and competitive landscape assessments. Help ensure seamless execution of cross-functional plans that drive sustainable growth. WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING TO THE TEAM Veterinary Master's degree (e.g. MBA, MSc). Minimum 3 years of experience in the animal health industry. Experience as veterinary practitioner in the Equine field is required. Strong technical expertise in Equine health Customer-focused mindset with strong technical credibility. Strong planning, prioritization, and problem-solving abilities. Interest and/or work experience in product marketing and/or field sales is a nice-to-have, not a must. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate scientific concepts into practical guidance Ability to translate scientific knowledge into practical, business relevant insights. Proactive, collaborative, and passionate about delivering customer and business impact. Excellent proficiency of Dutch, French & English. WHAT WILL YOU GET IN RETURN?
