Risk Manager – Infrastructure Projects
Join the energy transition at the core! We're looking for a skilled Risk Manager to support large-scale infrastructure programs at a major player in the European energy sector. This mission is part of the P2MO department within the Infrastructure division, focusing on project management excellence—especially around risk, schedule, and quality.
Location: Brussels (Onsite with limited telework possible)
Contract Type: CDI or Freelance
Start Date: ASAP
Languages: Fluent Dutch & French required + working knowledge of English
Responsibilities
* Govern and manage the full risk management process across key infrastructure projects
* Ensure Risk Management Plan procedures are implemented and respected
* Organize and lead Risk Management meetings
* Report on program-level risks and communicate findings across teams
* Audit EPC contractors’ risk activities and share relevant insights
* Track, log, and assess risks using appropriate tools
* Lead simulations (including Monte Carlo) to evaluate cost and schedule impacts
* Provide expert input to project stakeholders on risk best practices
* Update and improve risk methodologies and the existing Risk Management Plan
Requirements
* University degree in a technical or economic field
* Strong project management background and ability to learn fast
* Solid knowledge of risk management tools, techniques, and simulations
* Familiarity with PMI/PMBOK methodologies is a plus
* Experience with large infrastructure projects; high voltage transmission experience is a strong asset
* Fluent in Dutch and French, with good knowledge of English
* Excellent communication skills and proactive mindset
* Strong interviewing and stakeholder engagement abilities
