The role
We are looking for our next Account Manager to join the Food Specialities sales team and be a key player in the France/Benelux territory growth.
Reporting to the Territory Sales Manager, you will be seen as the leader of your own assigned accounts and will be in the driver’s seat to nurture and grow the business utilizing the Roquette portfolio of products.
The position is Full-time, partially remote, based in Belgium or France.
Your personality and talents will make the difference to:
1. Be the first level interface between customers & Roquette
2. Deliver Sales & Variable Margin targets for the Area, as defined by BU management.
3. Lead and coordinate customer interactions.
4. Develop sales funnel.
5. Lead negotiation process from initial offer through to final agreement / contract.
6. Provide information for market intelligence (market data, competitor information, etc)
7. Develop strategic account plans.
8. Identify new customers and potential opportunities.
9. Prepare attractive value propositions for customers.
10. Convert new opportunities into sales.
11. Manage the existing customer portfolio with focus on growth.
12. Provide regular volume forecast information to SI&OP team for customers under management.

13. You hold a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Sales role.
14. English and Dutch is a must. French would be a strong advantage
15. You possess a sound knowledge of Benelux Food markets (Confectionery, Beverage, Savoury & Dairy)
16. You are able to manage a diverse range of customers, products and applications.
17. You’re experienced experience in international / multi-cultural customer account management
18. Able to get insights with proactive relationships with the Customer Base
19. You are ready to travel extensively but able to manage virtually as necessary
