Your Role
As a Method Engineer, you will play a crucial role in optimizing production processes and driving continuous improvement initiatives on the manufacturing floor. You'll collaborate closely with operators and technical teams to enhance efficiency, quality, and overall operational excellence.
In this role you will play a key role in:
* Providing hands-on support to operators on the production floor, monitoring and improving key performance indicators such as Uptime, OEE, and TPM
* Analyzing downtime, recurring issues, and quality deviations to identify root causes and implement effective corrective actions
* Leading and actively participating in Kaizen initiatives and broader Continuous Improvement activities to enhance manufacturing processes
* Optimizing work methods, production processes, ergonomics, and workflow efficiency to increase productivity and reduce waste
* Coordinating preventive and minor corrective maintenance activities with technical teams to ensure equipment reliability
Your Profile
* You have 2-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment with a strong hands-on mentality and willingness to work directly on the shop floor
* You possess solid analytical skills with a problem-solving mindset and can effectively communicate complex technical concepts
* You have fluent communication skills in Dutch to interact effectively with operators and technical colleagues
* You demonstrate a genuine interest in production processes, machinery performance, and process optimization
* You have knowledge of Lean methodologies (5S, Kaizen, TPM) and a technical background in mechanics, electromechanics, or industrial processes
