Position: Industrial SHEQ Coordinator
Location: East Flanders, Belgium (On-site)

Salary range: 38,000 - 58,000 euros base salary + benefits + loads more!
Position Summary
We are seeking a qualified Industrial SHEQ Coordinator to oversee Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality at our Belgian industrial plant. This role combines operational safety leadership, quality management, regulatory compliance, environmental stewardship, and product stewardship, providing a unique opportunity to drive results while fostering personal and professional growth.
Core Responsibilities
Safety & Risk Management
* Lead operational safety initiatives at the industrial plant
* Conduct inspections and centralize observations
* Maintain risk assessments, safety KPIs, and documentation
* Oversee safety projects (5S, LOTO, risk assessments, new installations)
* Ensure regulatory compliance and safety reporting
Quality Management
* Monitor quality KPIs and ISO 9001 compliance
* Manage audits, non-conformities, and customer complaints
* Support continuous improvement initiatives and ERP implementation
Environmental Compliance
* Prepare environmental reports
* Manage waste handling and environmental improvement projects
* Monitor air emissions and maintain environmental documentation
Product Stewardship & Regulatory Affairs
* Ensure compliance with REACH, CLP, ADR regulations
* Manage product notifications (PCNs) and labelling conformity
* Support software implementation and customer documentation
* Coordinate audits related to product compliance
Training & Project Coordination
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external auditors
* Support site-level improvement projects and new equipment installations
Your Profile
* Bachelor's degree in Industrial or Mechanical or Chemical Engineering
* Work experience in SHEQ-related field a huge advantage
* Certifications in HSE a plus
* Minimum 1-3 years in a SHEQ or industrial plant role
* Knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards a plus
* Fluent in Flemish and English, French a plus
* Willingness to travel (~10%) to sister plant in Europe
