Job Title Energetic Materials Engineer – FR & EN – ALTEN Belgium
As part of our ongoing growth, we are looking for an Energetic Materials Engineer to join our teams and work on client projects located in the Liège area, within the Defence sector.
As an Energetic Materials Engineer, your main responsibilities will include:
Specify energetic and inert materials requirements to suppliers and manage their development, production and quality control
Conduct testing and evaluation of energetic and inert materials products, both in-house and at external test facilities
Develop and maintain pyrotechnic-related documentation such as FMECA, safety and reliability analyses
Support production of in-service pyrotechnic products, including resolving quality issues and developing improvements
Participate in technical reviews (design reviews, engineering change boards and failure investigations)
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Energetic Materials, Chemistry, Mechanics, Physics or a related field
Experience with full lifecycle product development (design, development, prototype testing, manufacturing and implementation)
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams
Language(s): French and English
