Corporate PR Director, EU Communications Location: Type: Full-time
Spencer Recruitment is working on behalf of a global consumer-facing business to appoint a senior communications professional to lead EU-facing communications from Brussels.
The position will sit at the intersection of corporate communications, public affairs and reputation management, supporting engagement with policymakers, media and other key stakeholders across Europe.
The successful candidate will act as a senior communications adviser on sensitive and high-stakes issues, working closely with government relations and wider leadership teams. Partner closely with government relations and internal leadership teams
Provide senior counsel on complex and sensitive communications matters
Support and manage relevant media relations activity across Europe
10+ years’ experience in corporate communications, public affairs, policy communications or a related field
~ Excellent media handling skills, ideally with European and international outlets
~ Fluent English essential; French or another European language would be an advantage
