About the Role
We are looking for a dynamic and organised individual to take on the role of Secretary General of the INSEAD Alumni Association Belgium (IAAB). This is a part-time position (approximately 0.5 FTE) that combines operational coordination, communications, event support, and membership engagement for a vibrant and diverse community of 2800 INSEAD alumni in Belgium.

About IAAB
The IAAB is one of the most active alumni associations within the INSEAD global network. We organise inspiring conferences and social events, promote lifelong learning and connection, and represent the Belgian INSEAD alumni body towards the school. With hundreds of active members and frequent events, IAAB plays a key role in keeping our community connected and engaged.
Key Responsibilities
· Coordinate the operational running of the association in collaboration with the President and Board
· Support the organisation and communication of events (e.g., speaker series, company visits, gala dinners, networking cocktails)
· Maintain regular communication with alumni via email, newsletters, and social media
· Manage the membership database, process new member registrations, and follow up on renewals
· Liaise with INSEAD Alumni Relations and other national alumni associations
· Oversee invoicing, payments, and basic financial follow-up in collaboration with the Treasurer
· Prepare board agendas, minutes, and reports; ensure follow-up on decisions taken
What We Are Looking For
· Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks independently
· Excellent communication skills in English and at least one of Dutch or French
· A warm, proactive, and service-minded approach
· Experience in event planning, communication, or community management is a plus
· Familiarity with INSEAD and/or alumni networks is a strong asset
Practical Details
· Part-time freelance role (~0.5 FTE)
· Flexible working hours, typically very quiet during school holidays but busier in October-November
· Some physical presence required for key events, typically one per month, primarily in or around Brussels
· Reporting to the IAAB President and Board
