Our customer is a large American public multinational that specializes in technology, engineering, and industrial automation solutions. As an A-brand, it's active in more than 150 countries, it exists for more than 130 years and it has more than 10 000 employees. With it's solutions, it helps customers optimize manufacturing processes, improve energy efficiency, and ensure operational safety. The company is globally recognized for being a leader in reliability & digitalization. As it had a very strong financial year in 2025, it's currently looking to expand it's automation - team (asset management) with a sales engineer for the BeNeLux.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

* Your responsibilities as a Sales Engineer for BeNeLux will include a focus on large industrial production companies.
* Being excited about generating new opportunities, visiting the customers and providing value to their business.
* Understanding customers and bringing back input for the team to support developing a project based approach with our consultants.
* Aligning priorities and focus areas with the sales leadership and establishing a prioritized strategic plan.
* Providing technical support to customers (internal and external) as the need arises and connect customers to experts as needed.
* Developing sales initiatives, participate in and attend events and conferences as an ambassador.
* 70% (warm) prospection, and 30% farming.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

Education

* Master's degree in engineering, or an equivalent experience.

Languages

* Fluent in Dutch and English

Experience

* You have a stable career.
* You live in Flanders or Brussels and are willing to go to the Netherlands at least 1x a week.
* You have technical-sales experience with provable results.
* You have experience with selling to OEM/ production companies/ heavy industry and have knowledge of production processes.
* You are open to have an employee-status. (Not independent or contractor.)
