💼 **Finance Manager**
Our client — a well-established international company active in Belgium — is looking for a Finance Manager to take ownership of the day-to-day financial operations of its Belgian entities.
This is a key role at the crossroads of accounting, reporting, tax, and process optimisation, where your expertise will directly contribute to the reliability and efficiency of the finance function.

📌 **Your role:**
As Finance Manager, you will:
- Serve as the first point of contact for accounting questions within the Belgian finance team.
- Ensure accurate bookkeeping, timely closings, local reporting, and full compliance with tax obligations.
- Monitor and optimise financial processes across the Belgian entities and contribute to group-level efficiency.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly reports for group consolidation under IFRS and GAAP.
- Oversee reconciliations, closings and reporting deadlines.
- Coordinate VAT, corporate tax, and other statutory filings with external advisors.
- Identify improvement opportunities and support the implementation of optimisation projects across processes, reporting, and internal controls.
🎯 **Your profile:**
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or similar.
- Minimum **5 years of relevant accounting experience**, ideally in an international environment; controlling knowledge is a plus.
- Solid understanding of BE GAAP and IFRS.
- Experience in consolidation, or strong willingness to learn.
- Interest in real estate is a plus.
- Strong under pressure, comfortable with deadlines.
- Excellent Excel skills and experience with ERP systems.
- Fluent in Dutch and English.
- Proactive, hands-on, structured and accurate.
