We're actively seeking an experienced (semi-senior) or Junior Firmware Engineer to join our team in Madrid, with a hybrid work model. You will be part of the Research & Development team.
¿What would be your mission within this role? As a Firmware Engineer, you will provide support in the Development of embedded firmware OS according to standards and customer specifications.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities:
• Analysis and design of features for security embedded systems.
• Implementation of firmware code for security embedded systems.
• Firmware maintenance and development support.
• Testing of firmware code for embedded systems to validate the developed features.
• Analysis of issues on released products.
Authority: • Make design and development decisions of the different functionalities of the embedded firmware OS in alignment with Technical Lead.
Required knowledge:
• Beginner level in programming language C (embedded).
• Beginner level in programming language JAVA.
• Beginner level in embedded HW and SW systems.
• Beginner level skills in cryptography.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies.
If you want this position to be yours, we would like you to have the following:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, computing Engineering, software, Telecommunications or related field.
• Previous experience as a Firmware Engineering or similar role (Desired, but not required)
• Availability to Travel: Required (not frequent)
• Proficiency in Spanish and Good written, reading and spoken english to communicate with our global team.
• A good level of Chinese is a plus.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Results-oriented personality.
