As a PMO Manager, you will be instrumental in building and maintaining a robust project management community. You will ensure that all projects are effectively supported, managed, and reported, acting as the linchpin between various teams to uphold project processes and methodologies. This position is open to freelancer and employees.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management & Support:
* Foster a strong project management community through knowledge-sharing and collaboration.
* Maintain and enhance project management processes and methodologies.
* Support project managers and teams in effective project delivery.
* Optimize existing processes for efficiency and impact.
* Facilitate cross-department collaboration between business, IT, and operations.
* Train and mentor project managers on methodologies and tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
Reporting & Stakeholder Management:
* Develop dashboards and strategic reports for management visibility on project status and risks.
* Consolidate and manage weekly and monthly status reports.
* Identify and escalate risks and critical issues promptly.
Support to Project Board:
* Prepare and manage agendas for Project Board meetings.
* Document meeting minutes, including key decisions and action points.
* Monitor the completion of assigned actions.
Action Management & Process Control:
* Monitor deadlines and ensure timely execution of project actions.
* Follow up with stakeholders through structured reminders and tracking systems.
* Manage and improve PMO templates and tools.
* Train teams in the correct use of PMO tools and processes.
Knowledge Management & Documentation:
* Maintain a central project library for easy access to updated documents, decisions, and plans.
* Compile monthly consolidated project status reports for senior management.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in project management or PMO roles.
* Familiarity with tools like JIRA and Confluence, or a willingness to learn.
* Strong analytical skills for reporting and dashboarding.
* Excellent communication skills in Dutch and French (NL/FR).
* Ability to engage and influence stakeholders across multiple levels.
* Proactive, results-driven approach with a focus on quality and customer service.
* Outstanding organizational skills, capable of managing multiple initiatives simultaneously.
* Keen interest in digital tools and continuous learning.
