About the internship We are seeking aMaster's studentfor a6-month internshipfocused onsilicone antifoam formulation and product developmentwithin our industrial R&D environment. The studentship offers hands-on exposure to real product development challenges, combining formulation science, material characterization, and application-oriented testing. The student will actively contribute to the development, optimization, and characterization of silicone-based antifoam systems, working at the interface of silicones, polymers, and colloidal systems. The role involves laboratory experimentation, formulation screening, performance evaluation, and interpretation of structure-property relationships. Responsibilities Preparation of formulation samples and laboratory test materials. Execution of experimental plans following established safety rules and good laboratory practices. Collection, analysis, and management of experimental data. Optimization of formulations and testing protocols to improve performance and robustness. Clear results reporting, technical documentation, and presentation of findings. Contribution to problem solving by applying critical thinking and innovative approaches. Qualifications Currently pursuing a Master's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Polymer Science, or a related field Solid technical foundation in silicones, polymers, materials science, and organic chemistry. Experience or strong interest in material characterization, including rheology and structure-property relationships Good working knowledge of English.
