Group Procurement Officer Packaging

Your Scope
We are looking for a Procurement Officer Packaging for our Group Procurement team in Ardooie. Group Procurement is responsible for the central strategic purchasing/sourcing of a large volume of (frozen) raw materials, services, materials and packaging for all Ardo factories and locations. Within Group Procurement, a specialized team in Packaging is responsible for the pre-press preparation and sourcing of packaging materials including flexible packaging (foils), paper-based packaging and various other materials such as labels, tape, glues etc. Within this team, the Procurement Officer Packaging will play an important role and will have a pivotal role in the operational support and follow-up of packaging procurement. The Procurement Officer Packaging will report to the Group Sourcing Manager Packaging.
The main tasks of Procurement Officer Packaging include:
1. Brand owner on group level of a specific range of packaging, especially flexible packaging for our frozen vegetables produced and packed in several Ardo sites.
2. Executing and supporting the Procurement plans in collaboration with our Ardo local Purchasing Officers / Teams and our suppliers.
3. Maintaining purchasing data in ERP systems including supporting the implementation projects of new systems for procurement processes such as SAP within Ardo.
4. Central support and maintenance of contracts and price agreements
5. Following up Intercompany transfers between Ardo sites.
6. Supporting the Buyer Packaging and the Sourcing Manager Packaging in various operational tasks: preparing budgets, cost analyses, reports, quality documentation, internal communication on Sharepoint etc.
7. International communication with all Ardo locations and suppliers.
8. Collaboration with Group Supply Chain, local Supply Chain, QA and Sales/Marketing; this is a central/Group role based in Ardooie-BE.
Your profile
9. You have at least a Bachelor's degree in a technical, business or economic field;
10. Thanks to your relevant experience and knowledge, you can quickly pick up things and are multitask in the environment of purchasing.
11. You have strong analytical skills, affinity with systems and specifically an advanced level in Excel. In addition, if you also have experience with an ERP package such as SAP, then this sounds great.
12. Good communication skills are required as you are in contact with suppliers and the Ardo community
13. A good verbal and written knowledge level of English is required. French is preferred.
