Are you an experienced HR professional looking for a meaningful role in an international, mission-driven environment? A non-profit organization active in the European financial sector is looking for a motivated and hands-on HR Officer to join its Brussels team for a 6-month assignment. This position offers a broad generalist scope, combining both operational HR and project support, within a small, collaborative, and high-performing team. Your Responsibilities As an HR Officer, you will play an active role in supporting HR operations and contributing to key projects within the organization. Your main tasks include: Supporting the transition to a new payroll provider and its integration with the time management system Assisting with recruitment processes, from job posting to onboarding Coordinating the training and development program, ensuring employees' requests and needs are effectively managed Contributing to payroll, compensation, and benefits administration Providing administrative and analytical support to the HR team and management Acting as a reliable point of contact for HR-related questions and ensuring confidentiality at all times Your Profile We are looking for a structured, proactive, and detail-oriented HR professional who enjoys working in a collaborative international environment. University degree in HR, Psychology, or related Human Sciences Minimum 5 years of experience in an HR generalist role Strong knowledge of Belgian labour and social legislation Excellent command of French and English (both spoken and written) Proficient with Microsoft Office and HRIS systems Strong organizational and communication skills High sense of confidentiality, integrity, and accountability Ability to work both independently and as part of a small, close-knit team What's in It for You?
