The ideal candidate will bridge the Environmental, Health, Safety and Social (HS) demands of our existing and prospective DC clients with our evolving business approach, translating into strategical initiatives and resulting in operational HS excellence. /p h3Key Responsibilities Will Include: /h3 h3Health and Safety Leadership: /h3 ul liProvide leadership and strategic direction for all health and safety aspects of the CE scope. /li liLead the HS strategy to ensure the highest standards over our CE portfolio. /li liPromote and lead a safety-first culture across all stakeholder, ensuring adherence to company and our client's safety standards. /li /ul h3Stakeholder Management /h3 ul liEngage with customer to understand their HS expectations and requirements, ensuring these are integrated into project plans and execution. /li liMaintain positive and collaborative relationships with customers, regularly communicating HS updates, key decisions and improvement initiatives. /li /ul h3Team Collaboration And Communication /h3 ul liAddress the client's HS needs with the operational teams and motivate them to achieve the highest standards. /li liEstablish and maintain effective communication channels and a transparent escalation procedure for HS matters. /li /ul h3Process Improvement And Execution Oversight /h3 ul liCollaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to integrate HS considerations in all life-cycle processes, including design, procurement, construction, commissioning, handover, stabilised asset management, and deconstruction. /li liEnsure consistent application of safety plans, method statements, and risk assessments, in collaboration with local inhouse safety experts, and the correct implementation and effectiveness thereof. /li /ul h3Reporting /h3 ul liCoordinating and streamlining the reporting process. /li /ul h3Qualifications: /h3 ul liA minimum of 10 years of experience in a Health and Safety management role, preferably including experience in the construction of data centres and other critical infrastructure (e.g. power plants, chemical production plants). /li liProven track record of implementing and managing HS strategies on large-scale, technically complex projects. /li liStrong leadership, decision-making, communication and commercial skills. /li liDegree or equivalent qualification in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field. /li liKnowledge of Health Safety certifications. /li /ul pNot sure if you fit the profile?
