The experience expected from applicants, as well as additional skills and qualifications needed for this job are listed below.I'm currently supporting a global industrial manufacturing organisation on a key project and we're looking to bring in an experienced DeltaV OT Cybersecurity Engineer on a 6-month freelance contract.This is a hybrid role focused on securing and optimising OT systems within a live production environment.Role OverviewYou will be working on a DeltaV-based control system, supporting cybersecurity improvements, system integrity, and compliance across OT infrastructure.Key ResponsibilitiesAssess and enhance security of Emerson DeltaV systems in a live manufacturing environmentApply and implement **IEC 62443 principles across OT architectureConduct risk assessments, vulnerability assessments, and remediation planningSupport network segmentation and secure design of industrial control systemsCollaborate with automation, IT, and engineering teamsEnsure minimal disruption to production during security improvementsKey RequirementsStrong hands-on experience with DeltaV (configuration, maintenance, or upgrades)Proven OT cybersecurity experience within industrial xjsrcvq environments (DCS/SCADA/PLC)Good understanding of IEC 62443 or similar frameworksExperience in manufacturing, process, or regulated industriesAble to work in a hybrid setup and engage with cross-functional teamsDetailsLocation: Hybrid (Europe-based)Contract: 6 months (extension likely)Start: ASAPRate: Competitive (freelance)
