We are looking for a communicative, enthusiastic fast learner with good analytical skills. We will provide the necessary training, so if you are not very familiar with Solvency II, IFRS or sustainability reporting, you will have a great development opportunity in a very interesting insurance finance/risk topic. You will have regular interactions and collaborate with various other internal departments in the Corporate Centre (E.g. Risk, Financial control, Reinsurance, Consolidation and Capital Management). In addition, you will have frequent interactions with our subsidiaries in Europe (including Türkiye), India and our Regional Office in Asia. As our Reporting controller, you will control data delivery of the entities and complete the control framework, ensuring that the regulatory group reports produced are reliable, accurate, complete and consistent.
In this function, you will on a periodical basis:
1. Be the SPOC and controller for a few of the reporting entities;
2. Ensure the control framework is completed and document/archive/review the controls performed;
3. Advise about procedures and internal control measures to improve the internal controls
4. Perform period-to-period analysis (analytical review);
5. Calculate IFRS 9 PD/LGD and ECL for the reporting entities;
6. Assist in providing sustainability & compliance calculations & reports;
7. Become the responsible for a few of the SII QRTs (quantitative reporting templates);
8. Organize the IAIS global monitoring exercise;
9. Provide information for ICS reporting;
10. Calculate rebilling;
11. Build & maintain framework for Solvency 2 Peer analysis.
In this function, you will on an ad-hoc basis:
12. Assist in testing a new consolidation tool;
13. Provide any kind of information regarding ad hoc requests.
Your profile
14. You have a Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Management, Mathematics, Law etc.;
15. You have a good command of MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint;
16. You are process minded;
17. You have the ability to quickly assimilate new content and take the necessary next steps (informing people, setting up a project, …);
18. You have strong analytical skills;
19. You are proactive and enthusiastic about delivering the best result;
20. You are a team player and able to work independently;
21. You are flexible, and stress resistant;
22. You are eager to learn;
23. You are fluent in English. French or Dutch is a plus.
