Life Supplies NV is part of the overarching organization of Vidara’s Chemicals & Life Ingredients business, a leading distributor offering tailored solutions regarding raw materials and additives for the food, animal feed, and chemical industries.

Our products improve structure, taste, quality and shelf-life of a wide variety of products: from sweets and sodas over dairy and bread to meat and ready-made meals. The longer shelf-life ensures higher profitability. Every day millions of meals and beverages are consumed which were improved by LIFE SUPPLIES.

The company relies on a stable relationship with the main global suppliers and a good relationship with its customers.

To strengthen our sales team, we are looking for an Account Manager Animal Nutrtion!


Purpose of the role:

As an Account Manager Animal Nutrition, you are responsible for managing and expanding our customer portfolio within the animal nutrition sector:

* You work closely with both existing and potential customers to understand their needs and provide appropriate nutritional solutions.
* You play a crucial role in achieving our sales objectives and strengthening our market position.
* You manage and expand the customer portfolio as a preferred partner within the Belgium-Netherlands region and some key customers in the EU.
* You build and maintain strong relationships with your customers and suppliers.
* You identify new business and market opportunities.
* You prepare and follow up on quotes and sales contracts.
* You pursue sales objectives.
* You work intensively with internal teams, including logistics and sales support, to ensure efficient service delivery.


Your background:

* Bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., veterinary medicine, animal sciences, economics).
* At least 3-8 years of experience in a similar role.
* Excellent negotiation skills and commercial insight.
* Strong communication and social skills.
* Good command of MS Office and ERP systems.
* Knowledge of quality management systems and relevant certifications (FAMI-QQ, FCA, ISO) is a plus.
* Solution-oriented thinking and a positive attitude.
* Good knowledge of English, Dutch and French is crucial to build a good partner relationship.
* You are a commercial talent who can work independently, organized, and result-oriented.
